Terms & Conditions and Client Agreement

Effective Date: September 30, 2026

These Terms & Conditions and Client Agreement (“Agreement”) govern the purchase and use of admissions coaching, consulting, educational materials, and related services provided by CAA Admissions Lab LLC (“CAA Admissions Lab,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By purchasing a service, booking an appointment, submitting an intake form, accessing client materials, or otherwise using our services, you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Nature of Services

CAA Admissions Lab provides educational and admissions-coaching services for individuals interested in or applying to Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (“CAA”) educational programs.

Services may include, but are not limited to:

  • Applicant assessments

  • Application strategy

  • CAA program-selection guidance

  • Personal statement coaching and feedback

  • CASAA application review

  • Résumé/CV review

  • Interview strategy

  • Mock interviews

  • Interview feedback

  • Applicant educational resources

  • General information regarding the CAA profession

  • Follow-up coaching and support

CAA Admissions Lab is an independent admissions-coaching business.

CAA Admissions Lab is not affiliated with, employed by, sponsored by, or endorsed by CASAA, AAAA, NCCAA, any college or university, any CAA educational program, or any admissions committee unless expressly stated otherwise.

2. No Guarantee of Admission

CAA Admissions Lab does not guarantee:

  • Admission to any CAA program

  • An invitation to interview

  • Placement on or removal from a waitlist

  • Acceptance after an interview

  • Scholarship or financial-aid awards

  • Any particular admissions decision or outcome

Admissions decisions are made solely by the applicable educational institutions and admissions committees.

Coaching is intended to help Clients become more informed, organized, prepared, and effective applicants. Individual admissions outcomes depend on numerous factors outside the control of CAA Admissions Lab.

Statements regarding an applicant's strengths, weaknesses, competitiveness, readiness, or opportunities for improvement represent coaching opinions only and should not be interpreted as predictions or guarantees of admission.

A Client is not entitled to a refund solely because the Client is not interviewed, admitted, waitlisted, or otherwise receives an unfavorable admissions outcome.

3. No Medical Advice or Medical Care

Although coaching may be provided by a practicing Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant and may include educational discussion about anesthesia, healthcare, operating-room practice, or the CAA profession, CAA Admissions Lab does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or medical care.

Nothing provided through:

  • Coaching sessions

  • Mock interviews

  • Written materials

  • Emails or messages

  • Website content

  • Educational resources

  • Clinical examples

  • Discussions about anesthesia or healthcare

should be interpreted as individualized medical advice.

Use of CAA Admissions Lab does not create a clinician-patient relationship.

Clients should contact an appropriate licensed healthcare professional regarding personal medical questions or concerns.

Clients should not submit identifiable patient information, protected health information, or confidential clinical information to CAA Admissions Lab.

Clinical examples discussed during coaching are for educational or admissions-preparation purposes only.

4. Applicant Responsibility

The Client remains solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, truthfulness, and submission of all application materials.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • CASAA applications

  • Personal statements

  • Supplemental essays

  • Résumés and CVs

  • Academic records

  • Test scores

  • Shadowing hours

  • Healthcare experience

  • Volunteer activities

  • Research

  • Employment

  • Leadership activities

  • Interview responses

CAA Admissions Lab may provide recommendations, editing suggestions, feedback, and coaching, but the Client is responsible for deciding whether to implement those recommendations.

The Client is also responsible for reviewing and complying with the policies, deadlines, prerequisites, and requirements of each program to which the Client applies.

5. Academic Integrity and Applicant Authenticity

CAA Admissions Lab supports ethical admissions practices.

We will not:

  • Fabricate applicant experiences

  • Invent shadowing or clinical hours

  • Falsify academic information

  • Misrepresent accomplishments

  • Impersonate an applicant

  • Submit applications on behalf of a Client

  • Provide false information to an educational institution

  • Create deceptive interview responses

  • Ghostwrite an application in a manner that misrepresents the applicant's own experiences, thoughts, or abilities

Personal statement and essay services are intended to provide coaching, editing, organization, clarity, and feedback.

The final application must remain the Client's own work and accurately represent the Client.

CAA Admissions Lab reserves the right to discontinue services if a Client requests assistance with dishonesty, falsification, plagiarism, or other unethical conduct.

6. Program Information and Requirements

CAA educational-program requirements can change.

CAA Admissions Lab makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate information but does not guarantee that information concerning:

  • Prerequisites

  • Application deadlines

  • GRE or MCAT requirements

  • Shadowing requirements

  • Application fees

  • Program policies

  • Accreditation

  • Tuition

  • Program locations

  • Admissions procedures

    will remain current.

Clients are responsible for verifying all program-specific information directly with the relevant educational institution and official application resources before making application decisions.

7. Payment

Payment is required according to the terms displayed when the service is purchased or booked.

Unless otherwise stated, payment must be completed before the scheduled appointment or before individualized work begins.

Payments may be processed through third-party providers such as Acuity Scheduling, Squarespace, Stripe, PayPal, or other payment processors.

Those providers may have separate terms and privacy policies that also apply to transactions processed through their platforms.

8. Appointment Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

CAA Admissions Lab reserves time specifically for each Client.

Cancellations or Rescheduling With At Least 48 Hours' Notice despite what the scheduling parameters allow.

A Client may cancel or request to reschedule a scheduled live appointment by providing at least 48 hours' notice before the scheduled appointment time.

For a standalone appointment that has not otherwise involved individualized preparatory work, the Client may request:

  • A rescheduled appointment; or

  • A refund of the eligible appointment fee.

Cancellations With Less Than 48 Hours' Notice

Appointments canceled with fewer than 48 hours' notice are generally non-refundable.

CAA Admissions Lab may, at its discretion, permit the Client to reschedule the appointment.

Repeated late cancellations may result in forfeiture of the appointment.

No-Shows

Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notice is considered a no-show.

No-show appointments are non-refundable and may be considered used or completed for purposes of a coaching package.

Any decision to allow a no-show appointment to be rescheduled is at the discretion of CAA Admissions Lab.

Late Arrival

If a Client arrives late, the appointment may still end at the originally scheduled time so that subsequent appointments are not affected.

CAA Admissions Lab is not obligated to extend a session due to Client lateness.

9. Refund Policy

Because CAA Admissions Lab provides individualized professional services, preparation, document review, and digital educational materials, refunds depend on how much of the purchased service has already been provided.

Standalone Appointments

A standalone appointment may generally be refunded if:

  1. Cancellation occurs at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment; and

  2. CAA Admissions Lab has not already completed substantial individualized work associated with the service.

If individualized preparation, document review, editing, or other work has already been performed, any refund may be reduced to account for the reasonable value of the work already completed.

Document Review and Personal Statement Services

Once CAA Admissions Lab has begun substantive review or editing of a personal statement, application, résumé, CASAA materials, or other Client documents, fees attributable to that completed work are non-refundable.

A Client's decision not to use the feedback provided does not create a right to a refund.

Coaching Packages

For multi-session coaching packages, refunds will not be provided for services that have already been completed.

If a Client requests cancellation of a package before all services have been completed, any refund that may be approved will be calculated based on:

  • Services already provided

  • Individualized preparation already performed

  • Documents already reviewed

  • Coaching sessions already completed

  • Digital materials or resources already delivered

CAA Admissions Lab may deduct the regular standalone value of services already provided before calculating any remaining refund.

Once substantial individualized work under a package has begun, remaining package fees may be non-refundable except where otherwise required by law.

Digital Resources

Downloaded or delivered digital resources, templates, guides, interview-question banks, checklists, worksheets, and similar materials are generally non-refundable after delivery or access has been provided.

Admissions Outcomes

Refunds are not provided because a Client:

  • Does not receive an interview

  • Is denied admission

  • Is waitlisted

  • Receives an unfavorable interview result

  • Does not achieve a desired standardized-test score

  • Changes their decision about pursuing the CAA profession

  • Decides not to apply after services have already been provided

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any rights a Client may have under applicable law.

10. Cancellation by CAA Admissions Lab

CAA Admissions Lab may occasionally need to reschedule an appointment due to illness, emergency, scheduling conflict, or other circumstances.

If we cancel an appointment, the Client will be offered:

  • A reasonable opportunity to reschedule; or

  • A refund or appropriate credit for the affected service if rescheduling is not reasonably possible.

CAA Admissions Lab may also terminate a Client relationship for inappropriate conduct, harassment, dishonesty, abusive communication, violation of these Terms, or requests for unethical admissions assistance.

Refunds in such situations will depend on the amount of service already provided and applicable law.

11. Coaching Packages and Unused Sessions

Clients are responsible for scheduling and using package appointments within any eligibility period stated when the package is purchased.

Unused sessions do not automatically convert to cash refunds.

Package appointments may not be transferred to another individual without prior written approval from CAA Admissions Lab.

Sessions included in a package have no separate cash value except as may be necessary when calculating an approved refund.

12. Client Materials and Confidentiality

CAA Admissions Lab may receive information including:

  • Academic records

  • Résumés

  • Personal statements

  • Application materials

  • Test scores

  • Employment history

  • Applicant notes

  • Coaching-session notes

CAA Admissions Lab will use Client materials for the purpose of providing the purchased services and will handle them in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

CAA Admissions Lab will not intentionally publish a Client's identifiable application materials, essays, testimonial, or personal information without permission, except where disclosure is required by law.

Clients should avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive personal information.

In particular, Clients should not provide:

  • Social Security numbers

  • Bank-account information

  • Patient names

  • Medical-record numbers

  • Identifiable patient information

  • Protected health information

13. Educational Materials and Intellectual Property

Materials created or distributed by CAA Admissions Lab, including but not limited to:

  • Interview guides

  • Question banks

  • Rubrics

  • Checklists

  • Worksheets

  • Templates

  • Applicant guides

  • Presentations

  • Videos

  • Written educational materials

are owned by CAA Admissions Lab unless otherwise stated.

Purchasing a service grants the Client a limited license to use these materials for the Client's personal admissions preparation.

Clients may not:

  • Resell materials

  • Post materials publicly

  • Upload materials to shared databases

  • Distribute materials to other applicants

  • Reproduce materials commercially

  • Represent CAA Admissions Lab materials as their own

without prior written permission.

14. Communication and Response Times

CAA Admissions Lab may communicate with Clients through email, scheduling software, video conferencing, or other approved platforms.

Follow-up communication included in a service or package does not constitute unlimited on-demand access.

Unless otherwise stated, Clients should allow a reasonable period for responses and document reviews.

Specific turnaround times may vary based on workload, application season, and the service purchased.

Clients are responsible for planning ahead and should not assume that last-minute documents or interview requests can be accommodated.

15. Technology

Coaching sessions may occur through video-conferencing services or other online platforms.

CAA Admissions Lab is not responsible for interruptions caused by:

  • Internet failures

  • Third-party platform outages

  • Client hardware or software problems

  • Power failures

  • Other technology issues outside our reasonable control

If a significant technical issue prevents a scheduled session from reasonably occurring, CAA Admissions Lab may reschedule the session.

16. Testimonials

CAA Admissions Lab will not publicly use a Client's name, image, testimonial, admissions result, or identifying information for advertising without appropriate permission.

Permission to use a testimonial may be requested separately and is not required as a condition of receiving coaching services.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CAA Admissions Lab will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the use of coaching services or educational materials.

CAA Admissions Lab is not responsible for decisions made by admissions committees, universities, CASAA, testing organizations, or other third parties.

In no event will CAA Admissions Lab's total liability arising from a particular purchased service exceed the amount actually paid by the Client to CAA Admissions Lab for that service, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

18. Third-Party Websites and Services

CAA Admissions Lab may reference or link to websites operated by universities, CASAA, professional organizations, testing organizations, scheduling providers, payment processors, or other third parties.

CAA Admissions Lab does not control these organizations and is not responsible for their content, availability, policies, or actions.

19. Changes to These Terms

CAA Admissions Lab may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The version applicable to a purchased service will generally be the version in effect when the Client completes the purchase, except where a change is required by law or mutually agreed upon.

The current version will be posted on the CAA Admissions Lab website with an updated effective date.

20. Governing Law

This Agreement will be governed by the laws of the state in which CAA Admissions Lab LLC is organized, except where applicable consumer-protection law requires otherwise.

Before publishing, replace this paragraph with your attorney's preferred Michigan governing-law and venue provision if CAA Admissions Lab LLC is organized in Michigan.

21. Severability

If any provision of this Agreement is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

22. Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions, together with the applicable service description, Privacy Policy, and any written package-specific terms provided at purchase, constitute the agreement between CAA Admissions Lab and the Client regarding the purchased services.
